Collaborate with quality assurance, production, design, and merchandisers to ensure all quality requirements are met

Track product development to ensure timely delivery of product specifications, fit approvals, and communications

Assist in the creation and maintenance of accurate product specifications

Keep up to date with the current and the latest fashion trends.

Conduct research and surveys on current fashion trends.

Know and understand customer preferences on fashion and style trends.

Coordinate and collaborate with the production team in producing quality products.

Develop and create accurate spec packs and detailed layouts.

Document and preserve all illustrations, detailed layouts, design works, and sheets for future reference.

Modify and make changes in design layouts to meet customer standards and tastes.

Deliver quality samples on time.

Fashion Design Assistant helps with the physical creation-cutting, stitching, and pattern tracing and leaves the creative design to their team

duties will include cutting and pinning patterns, and arranging them with all necessary accouterments (e.g., stripes, sequins, etc.) for the designer to review.
