Network Security L2 Admin (WAF)

Location
:
Bangalore

Device Status Monitoring.
Device Configuration Management & Fine Tuning.
Comfortably delivers solobased work or acts as a point for operations.
Managed Patches and updates.
Perform Change & Problem Management.
Device Performance and Availability Management.
Troubleshooting of firewall in case of any problems identified or reported.
Perform recovery of device configuration in case of disasters.
Problem management for qualified incidents.
Creates WAF rules/signatures to mitigate threats and implements best practices
Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
Reporting network status to key stakeholders.
Expertise across a variety of security products including firewalls, URL filtering, information security and virus protection.
Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation.
Cloud WAF, F5 WAF, understanding of HTTP, HTTPS app security, SSL & TLS protocol, URL whitelisting, NAT, Top OWASP attack, Basic cloud understanding.
Daytoday operation for Virtual WAF (preferably F5 WAF (BIG IP /ASM) and management using BIG IQ) in a Cloud environment.
Cloud Native WAF configuration for Malicious Source detection and blocking.

Qualifications/Skills:

2.5+ years of handson experience in WAF/ Cloudflare & F5 tools and with a similar solution.
Knowledge of managing administration activity on WAF.
An understanding of information security, network security, operating systems, software development, database systems and information technology is beneficial.
Diploma/ Degree in IT/ Computing related field CompTIA (or similar) certifications are preferred such as A+, Security+, and Network+.
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, or related field OR equivalent work experience in a technical discipline related to Information Technology that demonstrates technical competency.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problemsolving skills are required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are preferred.
Must be highly flexible and adaptable to change.

Salary:
Up to ₹1,100,000.00 per year
