Job Summary:

Responsibilities:


Manage and oversee the care of critically ill patients in the ICU, including those with complex medical and surgical conditions.

Utilize advanced life support techniques, ventilator management, and invasive monitoring to stabilize and treat patients effectively.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans and ensure coordinated patient care.

Monitor patient progress, interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results, and make timely adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.


Provide guidance and support to junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals in the ICU, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.


Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and caregivers, providing them with comprehensive information and updates on the patient's condition and treatment plan.

Uphold the highest standards of medical ethics, professionalism, and patient confidentiality in all aspects of care delivery.


Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and continuing medical education to stay updated with the latest advancements in critical care medicine.


Requirements:

DNB (MD) or MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.

Certification in IDCCM (Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine) from a reputable medical council or institution.

Proven experience in managing critically ill patients in an ICU setting.

Excellent clinical skills and a strong understanding of advanced life support measures and critical care interventions.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Ability to make sound clinical judgments and decisions in high-pressure situations.

Current registration with the appropriate medical council and a valid license to practice critical care medicine.
