Description

Responsibilities:

Supervision: Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of welders and other staff in the Weldshop to ensure smooth operations.

Quality Control: Monitor welding processes to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

Safety: Enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Training: Provide training and guidance to welders to enhance their skills and productivity.
-
Scheduling: Develop production schedules and assign tasks to meet deadlines and production targets.

Inventory Management: Coordinate with the materials management team to ensure availability of necessary materials and supplies.

Problem Solving: Address production issues and implement corrective actions as necessary to prevent delays or quality issues.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including materials usage, production output, and quality control data.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to optimize efficiency and productivity.

Communication: Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and maintenance, to ensure seamless coordination and communication across the organization.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in welding operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Technical Skills: Proficient in various welding processes, such as MIG, TIG, and Arc welding. Familiarity with welding equipment and tools.

Leadership: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues and implement effective solutions.

Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Safety: Thorough understanding of safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Salary:
