IT EXECUTIVE

Location - Malad, Mumbai


As an IT Executive with experience hardware, network, and some ERP implementation, your role would involve overseeing and managing various aspects of the company's information technology infrastructure and systems.

Here are some key responsibilities and areas of expertise that would be expected from someone in your position:

Hardware Management:

You would be responsible for overseeing the procurement, installation, and maintenance of hardware equipment such as servers, workstations, laptops, and other devices used by the company's employees.


Network Administration:
Your role would involve managing the organization's local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN). This includes setting up and configuring network devices, ensuring network security, monitoring network performance, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.

ERP Implementation:

Though you have limited experience in ERP implementation, you would be expected to collaborate with relevant stakeholders to understand business requirements and assist in the implementation and integration of an ERP system tailored to the needs of the Company.


IT Security:

You would need to ensure that the company's IT infrastructure and data are protected from potential threats and vulnerabilities.

This includes implementing security measures, conducting regular audits, and staying updated on the latest cyber security best practices.

System Maintenance and Support:

As an IT Executive, you would oversee system maintenance, software updates, and provide technical support to end-users within the organization.

Quick and efficient issue resolution is essential to keep the business running smoothly.

Data Backup and Recovery:

Implementing and managing data backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability in the event of system failures or disasters.


Budgeting and Vendor Management:

You may be involved in budget planning for IT-related projects and managing relationships with IT vendors for hardware, software, and service procurement.


IT Strategy and Planning:

Collaborating with senior management to align IT strategy with business goals and identify areas where technology can drive efficiency and growth within the chemical industry.


Adoption of Emerging Technologies:

Staying abreast of new technologies and trends in the chemical industry and evaluating their potential benefits and impact on the organization.


Team Leadership:

If you have a team reporting to you, you would be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and support to your team members in accomplishing their tasks and professional growth.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience 0F 5 years as an IT Executive or a similar role in the chemical industry or related field.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in hardware and network management, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network protocols.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and experience in their implementation and support (specific ERP experience may be mentioned if required, e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and networkrelated issues.
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices and experience implementing security measures.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Project management skills to handle multiple tasks and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fastpaced work environment.

Company Profile:


Salary:
₹300, ₹400,000.00 per year
