Roles and Responsibilities of Bakery Assistant

  • Manage inventory of ingredients and culinary supplies.
  • Prepare foods for cafeteria and patients, operate cash register in cafeteria, sanitize food preparation and service areas.
  • Operate industrial ovens and stoves.
  • Help selling merchandise and run the store.
  • Gain valuable experience in servicing VIP requests.
  • Assist customers, run register, and stock goods.
  • Utilize metric, as well as, standard math.
  • Operate slicers, fryers, ovens in the department.
  • Used excellent math skills need for precise measurements while baking.
  • Weigh and measure ingredients, using measuring cups and spoons.
  • Personalize cakes using pastry bags, stencils, and icing tubes.
  • Bake desserts for three 5Star restaurants, gain valuable experience in servicing VIP requests.
  • Operate baking equipment, such as toasters, ovens, and gas stoves.
  • Store food according to guidelines if HACCP and the food code of Georgia.
  • Prepare pastries and bake goods daily for hospital patients, staff and affiliate catering services.
  • Use light machinery with the slicers and also minimum computer skills to update sales and inventory.
  • Have taken great pride in work in making sure everything is according to the HACCP plan.
  • Follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment, ensuring corporate and OSHA safety standards are met.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assign work areas.
  • Follow recipes and express creativity with decorating cakes and cupcakes.
  • Decorate cupcakes to owner's specifications using different decorating tools and techniques.
  • Work with a variety of tools such as an airbrush machine, fondant carving tools, small and industrial size mixers.
  • Gather ingredients and used industrial culinary equipment to create bake goods.
  • Prepare freshly bake bagels for morning opening
  • Prepare and bake bagels in a highvolume bakery and maintain proficiency at every station.
  • Prepare custom fondant decorations for customer orders.
  • Prepare grill, broiler, sandwiches, wraps, and items for plant shift workers on their lunch breaks.
  • Check and sign for incoming bakeries products being place in bakery area.
  • Decorate several types of cheesecake for the bakery.
  • Execute daily operations of cheesecake.

Salary:
₹10, ₹20,000.00 per month
