Description
Responsibilities of Data Entry Operator:
- Inputting patient demographic information, medical histories, diagnoses, treatments, and other healthcarerelated data into electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient records by verifying information, resolving discrepancies, and following data entry procedures.
- Updating patient records with new information, such as test results, medication changes, and treatment plans, in a timely manner.
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive patient information.
- Collaborating with healthcare providers, nurses, and other staff members to obtain and verify patient data as needed.
- Responding to datarelated inquiries or requests from healthcare professionals and administrative staff.
- Organizing and filing paper documents, such as consent forms, insurance information, and medical records, as necessary.
- Performing regular data quality checks to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in patient records.
- Assisting with data entry projects, such as electronic record conversions or system upgrades, under the guidance of the supervisor.
- Following hospital protocols and guidelines for data management, security, and confidentiality
Responsibilities Front Office Executive:
- Welcome patients, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls and route them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Schedule patient appointments, surgeries, and followup visits using the hospital's scheduling system.
- Register new patients and update their demographic information accurately in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect copayments or payments for services rendered.
- Provide information to patients regarding hospital services, facilities, and policies.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, physicians, and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and timely service delivery.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and requests with empathy and efficiency, escalating complex issues to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area and waiting room.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, faxing, copying, and data entry, to support the operations of the hospital.
- Collaborate with the billing department to resolve billingrelated inquiries and discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with patient privacy laws (HIPAA) and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or hospital administration.
Requirements:
Any Graduate with experience or no experince.
