VMC SETTER WORKING LOCATION :
ABBIGERE BANGALORE

Machine Operation: Proficiency in operating VMC machines, including understanding the control panel, inputting commands, and monitoring the machining process.

Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to understand the required dimensions and tolerances for machining.

Tooling Knowledge: Familiarity with various cutting tools, tool holders, and tooling setups specific to VMC operations. This includes selecting the appropriate tools for each job and setting them up correctly.

Workholding Setup: Experience in setting up workpieces securely on the machine table using clamps, vises, fixtures, or other workholding devices.

Fixture Design: Basic understanding of fixture design principles to create or modify fixtures that securely hold workpieces during machining operations.

Machine Maintenance: Knowledge of routine maintenance tasks for VMC machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting components to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Quality Control: Ability to perform in-process inspections using precision measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to verify that machined parts meet specified dimensions and tolerances.

Troubleshooting: Skill in identifying and resolving common issues that may arise during machining operations, such as tool wear, chatter, or dimensional inaccuracies.

Safety Compliance: Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following machine safety procedures.

Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers, programmers, and other team members to understand job requirements, provide feedback, and report any issues or concerns.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities, job requirements, and production schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to optimize machining processes and improve productivity.

₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
