Description

The Sec & Derivatives Supv is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to process corporate action and income events with complete understanding of CA lifecycle - Asset Servicing team.

The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless process of Corporate action and income payment process.

Responsibilities:

Supervise operating efficiency and ensure the entire team meets performance and quality expectations of assigned tasks
Resolve escalated issues and provide appropriate closure to those problems
Identify opportunities for process improvements, including service or technology enhancements and train staff on all changes
Analyze data to identify control deficiencies and resolve discovered issues through implementing appropriate procedures
Identify control deficiencies and implement appropriate procedures
Serve as backup for manager as required
Understanding of asset servicing and capital markets (corporate action, income, Bonds, Tax and structured products)

Qualifications:

36 years of corporate action and income experience
Experience in people management
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:

Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
