Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled
A ccounting Associate **to join our team who will have the opportunity to champion our CAT IT division.

Performs various clerical and routine accounting tasks in support of an operating unit.

The preference for this role is to be based out of
Bangalore, Whitefield office-India.

What you will do

Job Roles and Responsibilities

Participate in problem resolution process involving customer and information services interaction.
Provide and maintain accurate user documentation and training as well as detailed process/transaction flows.
Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP.
Gain an understanding of Caterpillar's business and accounting practices, systems, and procedures.
Upon request, take part in special projects and ad hoc reporting requests.
What you will have
Fresher with an accounting/commerce degree/undergraduate/part qualified accounting professional with 6 months to 2 years of experience.
Effective communications skills and a good understanding of computer systems / Financial Analytics Tool.
Good accounting background and working knowledge in ERP systems.
Must be a team player with effective communication skills and willingness to take initiative.

Level Basic Understanding:

Explains the importance of accuracy in own function or unit.
Identifies tasks or outputs that require accuracy and detaillevel attention.

Analytical Thinking:

Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Level Basic Understanding:

Names specific tools or techniques that can be used to support the analytical thinking process.
Gives examples of how analytical thinking has been used to resolve problems.
