Description

Product Owner (GlobalCode) for Global Specimen Solutions is responsible and accountable to deliver tasks according to procedural requirements and agreed upon service levels of Global Specimen Solutions for Covance Central Laboratory Services.

Product Vision & Roadmap:
Understands and executes the long-term product vision and high
- quality product roadmap

  • Secure stakeholder alignment including monthly reporting of initiatives to senior leadership
  • Clearly communicate the larger product vision and specific product features across the organization, as needed, maintaining a cohesive and singular product vision
  • Work closely with Product Management to create a product backlog relative to business value
  • Communicate effectively with crossfunctional teams displaying the ability to collaborate, multitask and drive the best possible decisions and outcomes

Customer Centricity:
Provide superior delivery experience for GSS customers both internal and external

  • Participate in remote and inperson client meetings to assess client business direction and roadmap alignment with GlobalCODE.
  • Work with product owner and client leadership to garner support for the GlobalCODE vision.
  • Collaborate with clients when client vision does not align with the GSS vision for the product.
  • Work with product teams to assist in executing and delivering the product vision and solutions to solve customers' problems that ensures value addition to customer.
  • Assist the product development team in creating a selfserve product with speed to market
  • Help translate product roadmap features into welldefined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria
  • Periodically reprioritize feature and defect backlog based on customer feedback and business priority to ensure focused efforts with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Analyze user and business issues and assist in detailing specifications for various features ensuring the best solution are built as per specification

Release management & Analytics:
Support product implementation and deployment

  • Effectively use qualitative and quantitative analytics to track metrics and effectiveness of product which supports data driven decision making
