Position Summary:


The Key Account Manager at a stock market brokerage firm is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with high-value clients.

This role involves providing personalized service, financial advice, and market insights to clients, ensuring their investment needs are met and fostering long-term loyalty.

The Key Account Manager will also work to identify new business opportunities and contribute to the firm's overall growth.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:


  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their financial goals and investment preferences.
  • Provide personalized investment advice and tailored financial solutions to clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.

Market Analysis and Advisory:


  • Monitor market trends, financial news, and economic data to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and adjustments based on market conditions and client objectives.
  • Present market insights and investment opportunities through regular reports and meetings.

Sales and Business Development:


  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the client base, including upselling and crossselling services.
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet sales targets and increase account revenue.
  • Network and build relationships with potential clients and industry professionals.

Customer Service Excellence:


  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and support.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to fulfill client requests and manage account operations smoothly.
  • Conduct regular checkins with clients to assess their satisfaction and gather feedback.

Compliance and Risk Management:


  • Ensure all client activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Monitor client accounts for signs of unusual activity and take appropriate action as necessary.
  • Keep uptodate with changes in regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance.

Reporting and Documentation:


  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of client interactions, transactions, and account details.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, client feedback, and sales activities.
  • Use CRM tools to track and manage client information and sales activities.

Team Collaboration:


  • Work closely with the sales, research, and trading teams to deliver comprehensive services to clients.
  • Share market insights and client feedback with colleagues to enhance service delivery and product offerings.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, Financial Advisor, or similar role in the stock market or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of stock market operations, investment products, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Series 7, Series 63) are a plus.

Work Environment:


  • Officebased role with potential for remote work flexibility.
  • May require occasional travel for client meetings and industry events.
  • Regular office hours with occasional evenings or weekends depending on client needs and market events.
