Overview:
Role Purpose
- The purpose of the role is to create exceptional productarchitectural design for the existing and new products and enabledelivery teams to provide exceptional client engagement andsatisfaction._
Do
- **Develop architectural
designs for the newand existing products
- _ Define product requirements and design needs by displayingcomplete understanding of product vision and business requirements_
- Understand market
- Create a productwide architectural design that ensures systems arescalable, reliable, and compatible with different deployment options
- Develop themebased Proof of Concepts (POCs) in order to demonstratethe feasibility of the product idea and realise it as a viable one
- Analyze, propose and implement the core technology strategy forproduct development
- Conduct impact analyses of changes and new requirements on theproduct development effort
- Collaborate with sales, development, consulting teams to reconcilesolutions to architecture
- Analyse technology environment, enterprise specifics, clientrequirements to set a product solution design framework/ architecture
- Provide technical leadership to the design, development andimplementation of custom solutions through thoughtful use of moderntechnology
- Define and understand current state product features and identifyimprovements, options & tradeoffs to define target state solutions
- Clearly articulate, document and sell architectural targets,recommendations and reusable patterns and accordingly propose investmentroadmaps
- Validate the solution/ prototype from technology, cost structure andcustomer differentiation point of view
- Identify problem areas and perform root cause analysis ofarchitectural design and solutions and provide relevant solutions to theproblem
- Support Delivery team during the product deployment process andresolve complex issues
- Collaborate with delivery team to develop a product validation andperformance testing plan as per the business requirements andspecifications.
- Identifies implementation risks and potential impacts.
- **Enable Delivery Teams by providing optimal deliverysolutions/ frameworks**- _ Build and maintain relationships with executives, technicalleaders, product owners, peer architects and other stakeholders tobecome a trusted advisor_
- _ Develops and establishes relevant technical, business processand overall support metrics (KPI/SLA) to drive results_
- _ Identify technical, process, structural risks and prepare a riskmitigation plan for the product_
- _ Ensure quality assurance of all the architecture or designdecisions and provides technical mitigation support to the deliveryteams_
- _ Leads the development and maintenance of enterprise frameworkand related artefacts_
- _ Develops trust and builds effective working relationshipsthrough respectful, collaborative engagement across individual productteams_
- _ Ensure optimal Client Engagement_
- Support presales team while presenting the entire product designand its principles to the client
- Negotiate, manage and coordinate with the client teams to ensure allrequirements are met and create an impact of solution proposed
- Demonstrate thought leadership with strong technical capability infront of the client to win the confidence and act as a trusted advisor
Competency Building and Branding_**- _ Ensure completion of necessary trainings and certifications_
- _ Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs),case studies, demos etc. fornew growth areas based on market and customer research _
- _Develop and present a point of view of Wipro on _productdesign and architect by writing white papers, blogs etc. _
- _Attain market referencability and recognition through highestanalyst rankings, client testimonials and partner credits _
- _Be the voice of Wipro's Thought Leadership by speaking inforums (internal and external) _
- _Mentor developers, designers and Junior architects for theirfurther career development and enhancement_
- _ Contribute to the architecture practice by conducting selectioninterviews etc_

- Hire adequate and right resources for the team
- Ensure adequate onboarding and training for the team members toenhance capability & effectiveness
- Build an internal talent pool and ensure their career progressionwithin the organization

- Drive diversity in leadership positions
