Responsibilities:

Generate creative and innovative design concepts for labgrown diamond jewelry based on market trends, customer preferences, and brand identity.
Produce detailed sketches and illustrations to visualize design ideas.
Collaborate with CAD designers to translate hand sketches into detailed Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models, ensuring accurate representation of design elements.
Select and recommend appropriate materials for jewelry designs, considering factors such as aesthetics, durability, and ethical considerations related to labgrown diamonds.
Stay informed about advancements in materials relevant to jewelry design.
Work closely with the product development team to create physical prototypes of jewelry designs.
Iterate on designs based on feedback, ensuring the final product aligns with the envisioned concept.
Conduct thorough reviews of prototypes and CAD models to ensure they meet quality standards, are manufacturable, and adhere to design specifications.
Stay abreast of industry trends, market preferences, and emerging styles in labgrown diamond jewelry.
Use research findings to influence and enhance design concepts.
Collaborate with CAD designers, gemologists, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of design elements into the final product.
Participate in design review sessions and contribute to the overall design process.
Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure a shared vision.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Jewelry Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Jewelry Designer, preferably in the context of labgrown diamond jewelry.
Proficiency in hand sketching and illustration.
Familiarity with CAD software for jewelry design (e.g., Rhino, Matrix) is a plus.
Understanding of materials, gemstones, and manufacturing processes in the jewelry industry.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship in design execution.
Ability to balance creativity with practical considerations for mass production.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within crossfunctional teams.
