Squint Surgeon/ - Delhi, Delhi, India - Eye Mantra Hospital
Description
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive examinations to diagnose squint disorders and assess the extent of ocular misalignment.
Develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their medical history, examination findings, and diagnostic tests.
Perform surgical interventions to correct strabismus, including muscle resection, recession, and adjustable sutures, as appropriate.
Provide pre-operative counseling to patients and their families, explaining the surgical procedure, potential risks, and expected outcomes.
Collaborate with other ophthalmologists, optometrists, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
Monitor post-operative progress and manage any complications or adverse effects that may arise following squint surgery.
Participate in educational activities, including seminars, workshops, and conferences, to stay updated on the latest advancements in squint management and surgical techniques.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
Residency training in ophthalmology and completion of a fellowship or specialized training program in strabismus surgery.
Valid medical license to practice as an ophthalmologist.
Board certification or eligibility for board certification in ophthalmology.
Proven experience in diagnosing and managing squint disorders in patients of all ages.
Proficiency in performing strabismus surgery, including both traditional and mínimally invasive techniques.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
Commitment to providing compassionate care and maintaining high ethical standards in clinical practice.
