DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-Testing, QA/QC Analysis, Checking, Product development, Pilot Blending, Calibrating, Weighing Fixed Quantities of Oil Setting up the Apparatus to Determine their Physical and Chemical properties, Operating the Standard Lab Testing Equipments, Performing Accurately Oil Tests in Accordance with Applicable Standards, Performing Analysis or Calculations to Check Accuracy of test data, Collecting the Oil Samples of Required Type at Specific Points, Cleaning, Maintaining and Calibrating the Equipments, Providing the Support to Seniors, Chemist, in other activities including Academics , Operations, Research, Training Practice and others.

Perform routine analysis of the samples from refinery,blending,and waste oil departments.

Perform analytical testing on incoming and outbound loads of packed & bulk oil on trucks to specific specifications.

Perform analytical tests of raw material in - process , and finished products.

Insured quality control and assurance procedures are adhered in the procurement of additives,base oils,and raw materials and manufacturing.

Daily calibrations, density,viscosity, color,smell,appearance, test(water in oil)

Document test results and other issues perform troubleshooting of issues that arise during analysis.

Follow SOP for handling equipment/ instruments and analysis of raw material, in rocess and finished product.

Perform validation ( IQ , OQ , PQ ) of laboratory instruments and analytical methods under the direction of the senior chemists,lab supervisor and or manager.

Communicated with the Quality Control Supervisor / Chemist about new procedures and methods. 

Prepared analytical reports and testing documentation.

Oil, water, chemicals used in production for contamination stability of product.report data in computer advise production of any problems or product not meeting specs.report to planner all test perfomed.
