In my existing role, I helped a PropTech startup in raising $6 mn from ICICI Bank and Baring Private Equity Partners India in a Series A round. I led all fundraising efforts starting from identifying the Investment Banker, and Legal Counsel to the completion of Due Diligence and Conditions Precedents. I charted a roadmap for the Company to transform itself into a true marketplace from the existing transaction-oriented model.

I was working with one of India's leading Venture Capital funds, SIDBI Venture Capital Limited, managing their US$ 20 mn Maharashtra State Social Impact Fund. I sourced, screened, and invested in start-ups such as True Elements (D2C Healthy Snacks brand), SuperZop (B2B Grocery start-up funded by Incofin), M1xchange (FinTech start-up funded by Amazon), Holachef (FoodTech acquired by Ola / FoodPanda), Grab a grub (Food delivery acquired by Reliance Jio) in Pre-Series A rounds through a combination of Equity/Debenture instruments.

I have earned a Bachelor of Engineering from VJTI, University of Mumbai through rigorous hard work, followed by a post-graduate degree in Finance from the University of Mumbai. I was a part of the founding team of EduPristine which received funding from Accel, Mark Mobius, and was acquired by DeVry. At Kubera Cross-Border Fund, I Assisted Managing Partners in screening new investment ideas in EdTech and preparing IC packages. I Assisted Partner in investing US$ 50 mn in #3 investments (Unicorn Dialpad, Soonicorn SkillShare, Freckle).

I am a strong team contributor who can collaborate with others and inspire them to work towards a common goal. I am a quick learner, who has been exposed to various challenges during life and has surpassed them successfully while learning invaluable lessons from them. I can adapt to unfavourable situations very quickly and work effectively to use such situations for the benefit of my investors, and employer.
