Work Responsibility at DSU:
I am here carry out the following Library work w. e. f. 28/10/2016.
1. Overall In-charge of DSU Library.
2. Overall maintenance of LIBSYS software including AMC daily back up taking.
3. Follow the norms of AICTE in providing of books, journals, E- journals and others.
4. Receiving and order placing of books/journals/e-journals.
5. Renewals of print journals and e- journals.
6. Complete In-charge in developing and executing of e-learning.
7. D-space installation and uploading of Institutional repositories documents.
8. Flap barrier maintenance and renewal of AMC report.
9. Generating of daily access control report.
10. Keep in touch with VC/Dean for any developments/queries of the library.
11. Keep checking of renewals of corporate membership functioning.
12. If requested library orientation has to be given.
13. Prepare library budgeting before the starting of academic year.
14. Calling of Library/committee meeting and keep in touch with Library coordinators and Library advisory committee members. I am Coordinator for NAAC-IQAC, NIRF and other committees from Library Department.
15. Procurement of any urgent items.
16. Preparing of stationary items requirement letter.
17. Sending letters to facility manager if there is any problem with electricity/AC/wash room.
18. Preparing library brochure / report.
19. Website updating.
20. Yearly stock verification conducting with the help of dean at the end of every academic year.
21. Complete controlling of security and house-keeping including photocopier persons.
22. Every day end report to the Chief Librarian about the functioning of the Library. Any serious issue may be called to the Chief Librarian at any time any day.

I have total 11 years of experience completed successfully. 

I have worked as a Librarian at SBIT, Tiptur and BGS College of Education. After i have joined Asst. Librarian in Dayananda Sagar university, Bangalore.

I have passed my Master in Library and Information Centre from Gulbarga University, Karnataka. Also i have passed KSET (Karnataka State Eligibility Test) Eligibility for Lecturer ship at Degree colleges.
