Experience

  1. Comprehensive experience in all fields related to Rotating equipment related to selection, Engineering/ design reviews, erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning, performance testing, retrofits, change-outs and re-rates of rotating equipment, Change requests (CRS), FAT& SAT tests.
  2. Impartation of Reliability/Maintainability at design/selection stage and to ensure that equipment/facilities are delivered in line with company operational/ Maintenance requirement and standards. Handling several critical interfaces among divisions and the other technical directorates.
  3. Design/selection of the equipment & reliability review during project phase. Preparation of Technical Specifications, data sheets, Engineering packages for Enquiry/ Procurement; Evaluation of Bids. 
  4. Maintenance (major overhauls/Inspections/repairs, Preventive/Predictive etc), troubleshooting, Development of work standards/procedures for equipment overhauls/inspections/refurbishments. Initiating enquiries for overhaul/repair works and carrying out technical & economical evaluations. Ensuring quality of jobs done by outside parties/OEMs is up to the standards. 
  5. Proposing/ carrying necessary equipment upgrades/ modifications/ retrofits to update with latest technologies& improve reliability/availability etc. Review of OEM recommendations for improvement of rotating equipment and carrying out their techno/economical feasibility analysis. 
  6. Project reviews, KPIs, deviations/alterations and counter measures. Interface with various project disciplines, interested parties (internal and external) including project stake holders, clients, vendors etc. Comprehensive experience in application of company Project Management system. 
  7. Handled many projects through Pre-FEED, FEED, EPC activities though successful commissioning/Handover stages.
  8. Review/verification of project documents, templates for compliance to company requirements/specifications. Complete understanding of operating company standards, expectations &requirements. 
  9. Carrying out Root cause Analysis (RCA) by different techniques and providing counter measures.
  10. Determination of operational & capital spares requirement for major equipment like turbines, compressors. Developing refurbishment criteria for capital spares. Carrying out technical and economic evaluation of options such as part replacement, reconditioning etc
  11. Carrying RCM/ FMEA/ FMECA analysis to develop/determine & optimize maintenance strategies of system/equipment.
  12. Carry out MOCs/ Change requests (CRS) for equipment medications,
  13. Providing technical expertise with experienced based knowledge/support/ supervision related to maintenance, troubleshooting, engineering, integrity assessment and reliability monitoring to operations divisions. Liaison with OEMs, vendors, contractors 
  14. Carrying out Reliability studies and improvement activities.
    1. Carrying out Reliability Studies based on Reliability, Availability and Maintenance (RAM) Model by conventional method & using Optagon software.
    2. Identification of bad actors, shortfalls.
    3. Predicting future reliabilities/availabilities/shortfalls by using Optagon software/ conventional methods.
    4. Recommendation & implementation/ execution of reliability projects/tasks/counter measures, retrofits/ upgrades.
  15. Setting & implementation of RCM, developing standards, Key Performance Indicators for measurement of performance and effectiveness of RCM, setting up objective, goals.
  16. Assistance in development of long term planning of major machineries like Turbines, Compressors by determining optimum strategies/frequencies for overhaul/inspection programs based on RCM. 
  17. Carrying Criticality categorization of equipment, Equipment Life Cycle Extension studies.
  18. Carrying studies on equipment performance & it’s optimization. 
  19. Condition Monitoring: Vibration analysis using data collectors/ Monitors/analyzers (CSI. Pruftechnik, ADRE, Bentley Nevada, system1 machine monitoring/diagnostic systems). lubricant oil analysis, wear particle analysis, Thermography etc. Exp.in implementation of Condition Monitoring Program for major complex.
  20. Reviewing/developing bill of materials for major equipment.
  21. Project reports, schedules, punch lists, budgets.
  22. Machinery Overhaul Service reports 
  23. Budgeting covering both operating & capital requirements.
  24. Knowledge in application and Governance of Company as well ASTM, ANSI ASME, API, AGMA,NFPA, NACE codes. standards and Practices.
  25. Very good knowledge of machinery monitoring and controls, Hazops, risk assessments, work permit procedures & quality management systems (ISO 9000). 
  26. Very good knowledge of/exp. in Alignment techniques, Balancing, Borescope inspections, Mechanical Seals (including dry gas seals), couplings (dry/ wet), Lube oil systems, Seal oil systems, Performance tests, Rotor Dynamics, Surge, Performance controllers, 
  27. Very good knowledge in drawings& diagrams (PFDs, P&IDs, ISOMETRICS,GA etc).
  28. Good experience in static equipment.
  29. Basic exposure to cross functional disciplines Operations/Electrical/Instrument.
  30. Acting ADNOC Subject Matter Expert for Rotating machinery 
  31. Designing, developing and delivering technical courses. Training and mentoring young national Engineers/trainees.
