Ashwinii Patwardhan

​A resident of Pune, Ashwinii has been in the field of education for the last 25 years. Being the third generation teacher in this noble profession, teaching is her metier. She carries a vast experience of teaching in various curricula of which her passion as a teacher and leader evolved in IB. What helped her sharpen and polish her skills was her Convent education, graduation in Child development and a Post graduate diploma in Psychology. Getting professionally qualified in this field, with a Bachelors in Education and 8 IB workshop feathers in her hat, only equipped her further in making a difference to her students. She is a trained IB facilitator and has been with Vishwashanti Gurukul for the last 15 years. She has also been a part of the school promotion team and has been active in representing the school on the global platform. She is adept with the IB PSP 2020 and believes in building in the students and teachers a strong value system and developing in them a thirst for learning. Her strengths dwell in applying appropriate teaching and assessment methodologies, contributing to the design and development of objectives and teaching material. Her USP lies in identifying quickly and precisely the strength and the challenges in child behaviour and learning to help them hone the skills to learn from different perspectives. Always in pursuit of excellence, her passion for travel, music, reading, culture, and spirituality makes her a multifaceted personality thus handing an extra edge to student learning. She believes that compassion, commitment, and challenge are the three cornerstones to help students to reach their goals.  She would like to sow the seeds of International mindedness first in the teaching community which will bear fruit as they work with their students. With a passion for holistic development of the personality and academics of the students she strives for helping students meet the better versions of themselves. Ashwinii diligently work towards building empathy, agency, mindfulness and self efficacy both for students and teachers.
