• Steered the business transformation process that included adopting and then expanding usage of the SWIFT platform in line with industry best practices and global standard processes. 
• Engaged with external business and industry experts to learn and influence business strategies maintaining a forward-thinking approach on opportunities and risks in the industry.
• Oversaw Treasury operations relating to QatarEnergy’s local operations – Annual turnover of USD 76b, Equity and Fixed Investment investments USD 12b, Bonds and Guarantees USD 2b, Loans and SWAPS USD 2b gaining in-depth understanding of underlying profitability drivers including segment profitability and cost optimization aligned to corporate strategy.

Facilitated the launch of the first SWIFT automation for Trade Finance in Qatar, motivating QNB to be the first local bank to automate the process given the benefits of automation to all major entities across the State of Qatar.
