About Devadas Rajaram:

Professor of multimedia and data storytelling, mobile journalism, social media, reporting/editing with over 15 years of editorial experience on English language newspapers, digital and mobile platforms. I was named one of the top 20 innovators in journalism education worldwide by the MediaShift in 2018.

I have an MA in International Multimedia Journalism from Newcastle University, UK. I currently teach multimedia, mobile, and social media and data storytelling at Asian College of Journalism, Chennai.

My areas of expertise are in interactive multimedia, mobile/social media storytelling, VR/AR storytelling, and teaching/training.

Core skills: Digital storytelling, mobile journalism, social media, reporting and editing, current affairs, content quality assurance and training.
