Dr. Lokesh Gupta

I am Dr. Lokesh Gupta, and I have been serving as the Senior Manager-Assessment Research at ETS Assessment Services, India since July 2024. With over a decade of experience in both teaching and research, I have had the privilege of working at several esteemed institutions. These include the Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DRDO), a premier research institute under the Ministry of Defence, IIT Delhi, a leading technical institute, Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs), a system of central government schools, Government PG College, SGT University, and Amity University. My extensive academic career has provided me with a robust foundation in psychometrics and psychological research.

Throughout my career, I have supervised many students, including more than 90 undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations and master's research projects. Additionally, two of my students have successfully submitted their PhD theses under my guidance, which is a testament to my commitment to mentoring and fostering academic growth.

My contributions to the field extend beyond supervision. I have authored a textbook and contributed three book chapters published by well-respected publishers such as Routledge, Sage, and Pearson. Moreover, I have published 15 research articles in internationally and nationally indexed or refereed journals. These publications underscore my dedication to advancing knowledge in the field of psychometrics.

My primary research interest is the development of psychological tests. I am deeply committed to the scientific method and ensure that my work adheres to the highest standards of rigor and reliability. This dedication to scientific excellence is evident in all my professional endeavors.

My career is characterized by teaching, research, and practical application of psychological principles. I am dedicated to advancing the field of psychometrics and making meaningful contributions through both academic and applied research.
