My Name is Froid (Civil Engineer and LLM in Construction Law), and I am currently working as a Dy Project Director/Head Contracts for Megawide Construction (Singapore) Pte Ltd. Currently, we are working on the Airport expansion of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Hyderabad. Megawide Supplies major airport systems (BHS, PBB, VDGS, GPU, ILBS, etc.) to ensure the expansion and efficient running/operation of the Airport.  Before this, I was working with Punj Lloyd Oil and Gas, which was executing the RAPID Project and the Sabah Sarawak Gas pipeline project until October 2017. I worked under Contract HOD there as a Senior Contracts Manager. 

My areas of expertise include subcontracts management, formulation/drafting of subcontracts and contracts, award of subcontracts or contracts, subcontractor execution management, closing of contracts or subcontracts, risk management related to projects, dispute resolution, claims management, construction or any related claims management, and Airport equipment procurement. 

The aforesaid experiences relate to Airport equipment supply, dams and bridges, tunnelling, long-range gas pipelines, tankages and related fabrication, and Commercial buildings.

I am working as a Contracts Head and Project Director with a 25-year track record in commercial and contracts administration, specializing in large-scale Civil Construction and Oil & Gas onshore projects.

• Experience: I have spent over a decade in Oil & Gas and over 20 years managing substantial infrastructure-related contracts. I have worked in India, Malaysia, and Singapore, with a deep understanding of international commercial bidding processes and local laws.
• Skills: My expertise includes contract management, claims and variations management, legal and dispute resolution, negotiation, risk management, project planning, and quantity surveying. I am proficient in formulating and managing claims and variations.
• Notable Achievement: While at Punj Lloyd Oil And Gas Sdn Bhd, he led the contracts department for the Sabah Sarawak Gas Pipeline Project and achieved claims and variations totalling USD 330 million.

I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Civil Engineering from Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology and an LLM/MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen.
