Gauravr Richhariya

Dr. Gaurav has been a progressive technical education academician for over a decade. He has diversified industrial and academic experience of working with globally renowned organizations like Extreme Feed Screw and Alloy Company (St Petersburg, Florida, U.S.A), CM Hydraulics (Hyderabad), AVN tubes (Gwalior), MPCT (Gwalior), and ITM University (Gwalior). Dr. Gaurav is a trained professional in solid Works, PRO-E, and CATIA from the premier institute of Central Government CITD (Hyderabad). He has been an assistant professor in the Department of Petroleum and Energy Studies, DIT University Dehradun since 2014. Apart from his teaching interest in subjects like Drilling, Formation Evaluation, Drilling Fluids, Petroleum Exploration, etc, He has several awards to his credit for his research work on cement. He has won numerous accolades like Best Paper Awards (2 times), Young Scientist award, and Young Researcher award at various international arenas. Recently he has been appointed as a certified Innovation Ambassador by the Ministry of Education and he also owns a patent “Apparatus for Assessment & Testing of Rock Cuttings Settling Rate in Inclined Wells

I have earned a Ph.D. in petroleum engineering in the Development of Self Healing Cement on Oil wells.  During my Ph.D. I tried to reduce the damage owing to the cement sheath shrinkage, Later I developed self-healing additives for the healing of cracks in the cement sheath.
