▪ Roles and Responsibilities:
• Configure, upgrade and Administration of IBM Tivoli Storage Manager,
Backup components on Windows, AIX and UNIX Platform in IBM TSM.
• Monitor and Manage Tape Library, Tape Drives & Tape Offsite.
• Configure and Manage file level and TDP Backups [Oracle, SQL].
• Collaborate with other support teams to troubleshoot Incidents.
• Analyze and resolve escalated problems within target.
• Recover file and folder Backup, DB Restore as per user request-IBM TSM.
• Oversaw and coordinated day to day projects deliverables.
• Worked closely with Team to Plan, prepare, track & monitor.
• Prepare necessary project documents.
• Have done major activities such as Upgrade, New Backup configuration,
Decommissioning.
• TSM client version upgrade to fix vulnerability issue file/folder recover and
SQL DB restore.
• Gather the client project requirements from customer, propose target
solution, and implement it within agreed timeline.
• Daily Health check reports and troubleshooting in case of any thresholds.
• Prepare Daily Reports on Missed/Failed Backups and working Accordingly.
• Work on daily Read/Write errors in Volumes.
• Configure File level Backups, SQL DB Backup and SQL Instance TDP
Backup.
• Restore File/Folder and DB Backup as per Customer requirement.
• Decommission of nodes and migration of nodes from one TSM server to
another TSM server
