Gitanjali Mehra

I m Gitanjali. I am passionate about building real-world software solutions that solve problems and make processes more efficient. I enjoy working on the backend using Java and Spring Boot, and I'm also comfortable handling frontend basics with HTML, CSS, and JSP. I take pride in writing clean, maintainable code and continuously learning new technologies to improve my development skills. During my internship and training, I mastered core concepts like CRUD operations, RESTful API development, MySQL database integration, and basic servlet-based web development. I also explored token-based authentication to strengthen application security. I thrive in collaborative environments, love breaking down problems logically, and am always eager to take on new challenges that push me to grow both technically and personally.

I worked on Truxco Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Mohali, as a Junior Java Developer Intern. There, I worked on multiple mini-projects performing CRUD operations, login/signup functionality using JSP, and also moved on to working with Spring Boot to create RESTful APIs.

One of the main projects I worked on was an Admin/Sub-user management dashboard using Spring Boot, where I implemented user roles, authentication, image handling, and database integration. I also started exploring token-based authentication before I left the company in March 2025 to look for a full-time role where I could work on live projects and continue growing as a developer.

I’ve recently completed my Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in 2024 from GNA University, Phagwara, after completing my Bachelor's in Computer Science (IT) in 2022 from the same university.

During my MCA, I completed a 6-month internship in Full Stack Java Development, where I learned Core Java, HTML, CSS, JSP, Servlets, and basic database operations with MySQL.
