Ishita Kodal

My name is Ishita and I come from the industrial city of Durgapur, which is also famous for its rich cultural past. My background is that my family has a history of being disciplined and courageous, and these traits have largely helped me become strong-willed, determined, and diligent in my work. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Amity University, Kolkata. I am an analytical person with strong problem-solving skills, and I have consistently utilized these abilities while studying. Outside academics, I am also highly interested in sports, specifically badminton and basketball, which have helped me develop my ability to lead, work in teams, and think strategically. These skills have also been displayed in my class group work, where I have always volunteered to be in charge of projects and tasks and delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines. My primary area of interest is data analysis, where I aim to explore how data insights can be leveraged to enhance strategic decision-making and business performance. My key areas of interest include customer segmentation, trend prediction, and campaign performance measurement. I am eager to gain practical experience in the process of data collection, cleaning, and analysis of massive datasets, and using different tools like Excel, SQL, and Python, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. I also want to improve my communication skills so that I can present insights effectively and be able to contribute to group projects effectively. Working with experienced experts will not only expose me to real-life data workflows but also lay a solid basis for a lucrative career in data analytics, where I see myself linking technology with sound business solutions.
