A medical scribe is an assistant to the physician who is responsible for documenting patients' family and medical histories, treatments, allergies, lab results and any information dictated to them or relevant to the patient's visit.The scribe records all information electronically, and their work is accessible to doctors who need to check the patient's medical track. Managers, often a nurse or a quality assurance specialist, monitor the work of medical scribes.

Approximate rate: ₹ 10,000 per hour

Experience

Accurate and timely charting of patient encounters, including but not limited to patient history, physical exam, diagnostic findings, lab and test results, Medical decision making etc.
Interact with the physician in a professional and non-intrusive way to ensure completeness and accuracy in medical charting.
Compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and policies relating to confidentiality of patient information.
Excellent job attendance.
Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to training other Medical assistants and staff
