"As a dedicated SOC Analyst, I have been working in the cybersecurity industry for three years. I am proficient at monitoring and analyzing security events to identify potential threats and respond accordingly. Throughout my career, I have been involved in the use of security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection to ensure the integrity and security of networks and systems.

My current responsibilities include monitoring security events and responding to security incidents for clients in industries such as technology and healthcare. As a security professional, I use a variety of tools and techniques, such as threat intelligence, log analysis, and incident response. I identify and investigate potential security threats. I have experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures, as well as educating clients on the best practices for security.

In addition to my professional experience, I have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Technical skills include vulnerability scanning, malware analysis, and incident response, whereas interpersonal skills include communication, collaboration, and attention to detail.

My responsibilities as a security consultant L1 at Ackee Software Pvt Ltd:

• Monitoring security incidents 24/7 from various SOC entry channels such as SIEM, AV, EDR, IDS, IPS, Firewall.
• Perform Intel-based Threat hunting and share the IoCs with the clients for preventive actions.
• Monitor and respond to cyber security events in real-time.
• Assess risk and provide recommendations for improving security posture.
• Assisting with documentation and reporting.
• Provide threat and vulnerability analysis and security guidance.
• Observing and maintaining intelligence related to security events.
• Identify, Analyze, and develop mitigation action for system and network vulnerabilities
• Continuously monitor the alert queue, either via the dashboard, or the ticketing tool
• Create a case through the ticketing tool if a valid security incident is detected, and assign it to the appropriate team.
• Monitors health of data sources, check for allthe tools and report any shortcomings immediately to the concerned team.
• Escalate incidents toTier 2, make sure allthe steps and process has been followed, this will help reduce time wastage.Ticketfollow ups
• Writing internal blogs/security advisories on various threats, attacks for internal purpose.
• Submitting the reports to the next shift to look after the raised incidenti.e shift handover.
