Karthikeyan Govindarajan

I am N. G. Karthikeyan, a dedicated and passionate Bachelor of Technology graduate in Computer Science and Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. My educational journey has equipped me with a robust foundation in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++, along with expertise in web development and machine learning. I have gained practical experience through internships at CCBP 4.0 Technologies and Prodigy InfoTech, where I honed my skills in AI and data science. My project work, including the development of a multilingual speech translation system and a comprehensive car service management platform, showcases my ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world problems. I am particularly interested in full-stack development and machine learning, and I am eager to contribute my skills to innovative projects that enhance user experiences and drive technological advancement.

I have hands-on experience in developing advanced machine learning applications, particularly in the field of computer vision. One of my key projects involved creating a face recognition system using Python, where I employed libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, OpenCV, and scikit-learn. This project utilized Principal Component Analysis (PCA) for dimensionality reduction and Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) for classification, resulting in high accuracy rates. I effectively managed data preprocessing, including mean-centering and eigenface generation, to create unique face signatures that enhanced classification performance. This experience has strengthened my skills in data analysis, algorithm implementation, and model evaluation.

I completed my Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham from October 2020 to May 2024, where I gained a solid foundation in computer science principles and practices. Prior to that, I attended Delhi Public School, achieving a percentage of 82.4% in my Higher Secondary education with a focus on Computer Science (PCMC). My academic journey began at Indian Learners Own Academy, where I completed my SSLC with a CGPA of 9.0/10.0. In addition to my formal education, I have pursued valuable certifications and internships, including an AI internship at Internship Studio and a Data Science internship at Prodigy InfoTech, where I developed practical skills and hands-on experience in the field.
