I have a background in Biomedical sciences, specializing in Microbiology during my undergraduate studies and obtaining a post-graduate degree in Human Genetics. After that, I worked as a clinical research coordinator at a multi-specialty hospital, where my responsibilities included managing clinical trial-related documents, coordinating patient visits, and liaising with investigators, ethics committee members, and clinical research associates. 

Driven by my ambition to pursue a PhD, I focused on clinical science and conducted research in Type 2 Diabetes. I have achieved notable success with five lead author publications in esteemed international journals, earning my doctorate from Anna University, a top state university. Subsequently, I joined the National Institute of Epidemiology as a Scientist in the Health Technology Assessment Resource Centre, a prominent institution under the Indian Council of Medical Research.

I developed strong interest and acquired extensive experience in HTA when I joined the Health technology Assessment Resource Centre at ICMR-NIE. The research experiences () I gained from my previous positions greatly bolstered me to excel in this field.  To date, I have completed eight systematic reviews and meta-analyses (SRMA), all of which have been published in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals. I have also collaborated with the Cochrane nutrition group on a scoping review in response to the World Health Organization's call for research on Menu labelling interventions. In addition to my research accomplishments, I have supervised post-graduate students, MPH interns, and a PhD student in conducting systematic reviews for their dissertations and internships. Furthermore, I serve as a Teaching Assistant for the ICMR-NIE's online Systematic Review course, where I provide technical support and answer students' questions.

I have earned doctorate in life science which is focused on clinical science and Type 2 Diabetes. I have achieved notable success with five lead author publications in esteemed international journals, earning my doctorate from Anna University, a top state university. I have pursued further education by enrolling in a master's program in economics through distance education. Additionally, I have completed training courses in evidence synthesis and HTA, acquiring the necessary certification.
