About MAHI MAHI:

Presently I am working as Researcher cum Executive Secretary to the Saudi Ambassador to India (H.E. Dr. Saud Al-Sati) at The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia – New Delhi since May'2012. My primary job was managing the schedule of the Ambassador, research and prepare briefs on people and projects the Ambassador was meeting or involved in; updating and maintaining the database of diplomats and their contacts for sending circulars and invites; organizing ambassador-related official events and lunch and dinner arrangements. Special role for handling media interviews, media features and media arrangements for Saudi National Day. I am also playing a very important role as a coordinator between Saudi School and Embassy for IB Project. Making reports for the project related updates for the Embassy. Since pandemic / COVID -19, I have been preparing daily updates on Covid-19,  doing research on Saudi-India economic and commercial maters, and India's ties with GCC and Islamic countries.

  1. June’09 – Sept'2011 
International Media Institute of India(IMII), Noida
I was Administrative Manager of the International Media Institute of India (IMII), which had affiliation with the International Centre for Journalists (ICFJ), Washington, USA, for its two years of functioning.  I was managing human resources and operations of the institute. My work profile made me responsible for planning schedules for faculties, their execution & adherence, timely updation and facilitation of all internal and external policies and communication, conflict management and audits, logistics, including managing all day to day operations of the institute. This also included handling of finances, vendor payments, tracking expenses and reconciling the inflow – outflow of funds.


 

 


 

Feb’04 to May’09

IANS India Pvt. Ltd., Delhi

I worked as Executive Assistant to the Chief Editor and Director of the international news agency. I was responsible for maintaining all documentation and filing systems, independent handling of correspondence by e-mail and printed letters, record-keeping, follow up of payments and maintaining all types of databases like contacts, staff, and subscribers. In addition, all secretarial work such as appointments, sundry accounts, general administration and HR activities related to pre-recruitment to post-recruitment formalities are under my work portfolio. I was also responsible for news agency related work such as daily, weekly and monthly reports for stories’ analysis. I handled all top level confidential information with proper control and dealt with media, political and business leaders who interacted with the Chief Editor.

 

November 2003 to January 2004Hotel Penorama, Dubai

First time when I got an opportunity to work in abroad, then I joined Hotel Penorama at Dubia. There I was an Executive Secretary to the General Manager of three-star hotel in Bur Dubai. My job profile included reporting to the GM about guest occupancy details and day to day hotel activities details, especially keeping a track of permits and visa of hotel and hotel' staff. I was dealing with mixed nationality staff like Filipinos, Romanian, Russians, Americans and locals. maintaining all documentation and filing systems, e-mail and necessary independent correspondence, keeping all records and reports of staff as well as co-ordination of other department' HODs. Fixing up morning meetings and making minutes as well. 

 

September 2002 to October 2003M/s. TECHFAB SYSTEMS, Faridabad
At the Techfab Systems, I was an Executive Secretary to the Managing Director. My job profile included maintaining all documentation and filing systems, e-mail and necessary independent correspondence, keeping all records and follow up of Order & Payments as well as departmental reports, maintaining databases like: contacts, sale & purchase, payments & order follow-ups, etc.
July 1997 to August 2002Centre for Micronutrient Research, Delhi 
I got a chance to work in Micronutrient Research Center, as a Personal Assistant to the Director of Projects, I was responsible for fixing all appointments, office management, attending calls, documentation and all types of computer work including data entry and e-mail. My responsibilities included arranging presentations, seminars, and meetings indoor and outdoor.
May 1995 to June 1997M/s. Cyburmatic Engineering Lab, Delhi 
I had started my career as Business Development Executive and my job profile included arranging appointments, attending customer requests, documentation and all types of computer work. I was responsible for attending exhibitions to gather all the necessary information and handing it over to the concerned personnel. I was also responsible for maintaining official accounts.
