1. I began my career as a lecturer in Statistics in NEHU, School of Agricultural Sciences and Rural Development (SASRD), Nagaland campus in the year 1989. Major job was teaching and assisting students for statistical analysis for their research work. (10-08-1989 TO 26-06-1991)
2. In the year of 1991, joined as Assistant Director in NIRD, North Eastern Regional Centre at Guwahati. I was associated with training and monitoring field survey to study the impact of rural development programme adopted by GOI. (27-06-1991 TO 06-04-1992)
3. Since 1992, I worked as a Statistician in Child in Need Institute (CINI) and CCRC. I was part of Monitoring Evaluation and Research Unit and responsible for designing field survey work in the area of Mother and Child Health. (15-04- 1992 TO 30-06-1995)
4. In the year 1995, I joined Directorate of Agriculture (Evaluation Wing), West Bengal, as Assistant Evaluation Officer. I was initially posted in Raigunj, Uttar Dinajpur and performed all duties as in-charge and head of our district level office. (DATE OF JOINING 06-07-1995)
5. In the year 2000, I was transferred to Head Quarters office in Kolkata and was attached with a particular scheme through which estimation of Area, Production and Productivity of major crops grown in West Bengal at State, District and Block level were prepared.
6. During last 2 years’ of my service I worked as a resource person in the Crop Insurance cell in Department of Agriculture, NABANNA and was attached with implementation of Bangla Sashya Bima(BSB) Yojana in West Bengal in collaboration with all Senior level officials and Implementing Agencies. Major responsibility was to prepare reports returns based on BSB Portal data as per requirement of the authority.
7. During these 27 years of long period of Govt Service, I worked in various capacity, provided training in the area of generation of Agricultural Statistics andvery recently superannuated and retired on 28th February, 2023 from the post of Evaluation Officer.
