Led the design and implementation of an event-based surveillance (EBS)system across ten hospitals, enhancing early detection of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases in hospitals to reduce outbreaks at community level funded by Pandemic Preparedness Program. I have trained and supervised (Training and Capacity building) 20 research assistants to implement the EBS at the State level and National level hospitals. Worked with state health departments for the implementation of the project. As a Project Research Scientist II, i manage grants, project proposal writing, scientific writing, and data management for 10 hospitals under this Hospital Event-Based Surveillance project. Led the Junior Scientist and Other Technical Support in the team for tackling inadequate transformation of weak systems. Leveraged data analytics by Python and R to track project performance and improve the ongoing performance of different hospital sites.
