I joined the newspaper industry as an intern and rose through the ranks to become the Features head of a national daily, The Asian Age. I quit my  full time job in 1999 and started freelancing for magazines and newspapers such as Femina and Mumbai Mirror. From January 2018-January 2019, I worked as an Associate Editor for Maharashtra Ahead, a monthly magazine brought out by the Government of Maharashtra. Currently, I am working on a book commissioned by the Aleph Book Company.
