Mariam Kagalwala

With a passion for nurturing young minds and fostering positive development, I have dedicated my career to creating supportive environments where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. Through my combined expertise in behavior therapy and early childhood education, I am committed to empowering both children and their families to reach their fullest potential. I look forward to collaborating with and creating enriching experiences and meaningful connections.

From August 2023 to March 31st, I have been working as a Behavior Therapist at the Einstein School and Therapy Centre for Different Learning Needs in Gandipet, Telangana. In this role, I have conducted 5-6 individual therapy sessions daily and develop weekly plans tailored to each child's goals.

Simultaneously, since August 2023, I have also been working as a Special Educator on a freelance basis, supporting a child with mild autism with his schoolwork and helping him grasp new concepts.

Previously, from November 2022 to March 2023, I served as a Preschool Teacher at Iris Florets in Gachibowli, Telangana. My responsibilities included managing and planning activities for children aged 2.5-3.5 years, as well as providing educational support to help them achieve their academic goals.

Before that, from November 2020 to December 2022, I worked as an Assistant Behavioral Therapist at Insighte Child Care Service, an online platform. Here, I provided school and home support to children, assisting them in achieving their academic goals.

My eexperience also includes serving as a Child Carer at Super Mums Ltd, a childcare agency in Edinburgh, Scotland, from January 2019 to March 2020. In this role, I supervised and managed children at after-school clubs and nurseries, with responsibilities including planning and executing activities.

Additionally, from June 2017 to August 2018, I worked as a Teacher at Early Birds Nursery, a playschool/activity center in Mumbai, Maharashtra. I was responsible for planning art activities, organizing field trips, creating age-appropriate worksheets, and managing events.

Earlier, from September 2017 to July 2018, I served as an Assistant at Cheers Childcare, a childcare center in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Here, I assisted with scoring and administration of psychological tests, conducted counseling sessions under supervision, and documented case histories.

My most relevant education is my Post graduate diploma in Early Childcare and Education from SNDT Women's University, Mumbai.
