I am a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and Cost/Management Accountant with 27 years of rich experience in reputed Indian Companies and Fortune 500 Multinationals in Accounts, Taxation, Budget & MIS, Compliance, IT, Legal & Secretarial, Treasury and Internal Audit. I have been working as Executive Director - Finance and Company Secretary for a British MNC's India subsidiary since 2008-2019 overseeing the functions of Finance, Accounts, Legal & Secretarial, IT and Global IT helpdesk.  My reporting was locally to Country Managing Director and also to Global Finance Partner & CFO based out of London. Prior to that I have been working in senior finance positions at Ingram Micro India, FedEx India, Tata Teleservices, IL&FS and Larsen & Toubro. I have been a team player and a team leader with ability to work with senior-most management on complex compliance or strategy issues and at the same help lowest level team members to sort out issues faced at their level, occasionally demonstrating hands-on working solutions.

I have handled all aspects of finance like accounting, taxation, treasury, financial planning and analysis. I have also overseen the functions like legal, IT and commercial. In my last role I was CFO (Executive Director Finance & Company Secretary) reporting to Country Chairman and MD as well a Global CFO. Leading finance, legal and IT functions, ensuring all compliances, setting up and maintaining financial controls, funds management were my responsibilities. Being a part of senior-most management group I was responsible for devising business strategy of the company and partnering and providing support to business verticals to accomplish their goals. I have experience and ability to work at strategic level as part of senior management and work hands on when needed to properly guide the team members in difficult situations.

I am qualified as  Chartered Accountant, Cost & Management Accountant, and a Company Secretary and am member of all three professional institutes in India. I was all India 4th at CA Inter and 7th at CA final. I had also won TS Grewal Award of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for highest marks in Accounting at CA Inter. I have completed my CA articleship from Deloitte. Basic degree I have to my credit is Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University.
