Brief details on current profile:

I am Mohan Pol working for DXC Technology,(formerly called HP Enterprise) in Bangalore, India since for 9 years to 6 months as a SAN storage administrator and have 12 years in the storage domain. Overall having 17+ years of IT experience.

My current role on 3PAR technology involves planning, installing, provisioning, interacting with a vendor, migrating the data from other storage to 3PAR host-based, assisting the data center, preparing the SOPs, organizing the meetings, providing the training to the team members, and coordinating with various teams and ensuring project move to production these are few responsibilities.

In addition to the 3PAR, I am working on Brocade Switch defining the zones and troubleshooting the issues that occur in the SAN area. Process wise I am familiar with ITIL and have been following in my current job role.

• Migrating the hosts from Hitachi to 3PAR arrays
• Storage Migration planning from the VNX to PMAX

• Raising the release record and preparing the Run book and presenting to the customer
• Storage Migration planning from the P9500 to XP 8
• Using the Asynchronous replication data is coming from one location to another location
• Active partition in migration activity 
• Taking part in the DC exit project, preparing the hosts' side data, and planning for the migration
• Preparing the plan for migration and following the ITIL process
• Interacting with customers and other teams to perform the migration
• Implementing the Nimble arrays and bringing them to the production
• SAN Capacity Planning Performance and project management 
• Brocade SAN switch implementation, migration and decommission
• 3PAR Inform OS upgrade
• Problem Management and providing the RCA document 
• Providing support for P1 issues 
• Planning and implementing data migration from 7 Mode NetApp filer to C-mode NetApp
• Attending the escalated and severity tasks
• Providing the consultation to the L2 team members

• Working on host-level migration and coordinating with Platform teams
