Currently, I am the general manager of a bakery company that has a base kitchen with a floor area of 20,000 square feet that serves two different brands known as Krazy for Chocolates and Crazy for Cakes based in Kolkata, along with 32 cake shops in total, 10 franchise shops, and a team of over 300 people.

My current role as the General Manager is also to transform business models, new market entry, customer experience and retention, service excellence, product launches, regional food safety, employee engagement, and top line growth through excellence in scaled operations across delivery, dine-in, and takeaway channels. Drive the implementation and adoption of strategic technology platforms to fortify and accelerate regional leadership and future growth. Drive the culture, people capability, and succession planning agendas across the network and to define and drive the short- and long-term strategic goals for the brand. This includes driving sales and transactions, optimizing costs, keeping the supply chain in check, ensuring compliance at the store level, and using information from the competition and global markets to ensure the business remains dynamic and responsive to environmental changes. The big goal is to continuously work on building a robust business model to promote rapid development.
After one year of my leadership, we turned a profit of 22%, and that increased by at least 10% annually.
Over 22 years of seasoned experience in QSR, bar and restaurant, retail, and bakery operational excellence with leading MNCs and global brands such as Pizza Hut, KFC, Subway, Metro Cash & Carry, and others. I have 15+ years of management experience in quick service, delivery, and affordable casual dining restaurant formats, delivering results in sustainability, driving company growth, and impacting P&L, and I am different from the typical prospective GM in a way that makes me especially well-suited to run a company like Krazy for Chocolates LLP. The focus is to provide informational leadership and high-impact coaching in order to support my team in achieving overall unit performance across four key metrics (people (always first), customers, sales, and profit) as well as customer satisfaction. This role is all about commercial acumen and the ability to think beyond the core operational elements in order to effectively lead and inspire a team to achieve breakthrough results.
I am a graduate B.A. (Eng. Hons.) from Kolkata University in the Year 1999.
