Prerna Ajitsaria

Hi, I am Prerna Ajitsaria, a Consultant at Bain & Company. I bring total 4 years of work experience – 3 years at Bain and 1 year at KPMG. In the management consulting domain I have led several projects around operating model redesign, change management, customer segmentation and cost optimization among others. I have also managed teams of junior consultants at Bain and mentored them for growth.

About my educational background, I have earned my MBA degree from IIM Calcutta and a BSC Statistics Honors degree from Ramjas college, Delhi University. As a student I was always involved in various extra-curricular activities such as debating and events management. As a social work enthusiast, I have been to Jagriti Yatra a train journey across India, with a group of 500 global changemakers with one aim to build India through enterprises.

Work with clients to develop and implement strategies to optimize operations, increase efficiency, and solve specific business problems. Few projects worked on include:

1. Target to improve Average Order Value by 25% over next 6 months for quick commerce business of an Indian foodtech decacorn; Working directly with product heads to conduct A/B testing in select catchments to identify most impactful initiatives

2. Conducted psychographics-based customer segmentation for leading ~$6B 2-Wheeler Player with presence in 70 countries; Developed customer value propositions & product strategies to drive 5p.p. market share improvement by 2025

3. Created GTM strategy for a ~$6B agro - chemical manufacturer looking for adjacent growth opportunities in nutraceutical industry. Also conducted due diligence and recommended acquisition of API manufacturer
