I have written two laboratory manuals in civil engineering, one is Mechanics of solids and another is in concrete and transportation materials to demonstrate to the students in undergraduate and graduate program levels. 

I can also supervise the Masters/Doctorial projects/dissertations and interests in the following: 

• Shells, Cylindrical shells, Spherical shells, Domes
• Light weight concrete materials 
• Replacement of cement with varied materials (metakoline, fly ash, GGBS, etc.,)
• Fiber Reinforced concrete (steel, glass etc.,)
• Reinforced cement concrete (RCC) exposed to different elevated temperature
• Reinforced cement concrete (RCC) exposed to severe conditions (sea water or acid) 
• Different Studies on Self Compacting Concrete (SCC)
• Probabilistic mechanics, Uncertainty quantification, 
• Design optimization and other related fields

 As a faculty following are the Responsibilities/Duties in department/Institution.

• To teach undergraduate (Bachelor) and graduate (Master) level courses
• To contribute in new program development, curriculum design/review and out-reach efforts, and actively engage in promoting the growth of the University
• To continue reading, update the literature and research on Civil/Structural Engineering, and develop and sustain an internally and/or externally funded research program
• To show an effective interpersonal and organizational skills
• To work with a diverse student population from different ethnic backgrounds
• To work effectively as part of the team with different faculties & variety of disciplines

1. Professor of Civil Engineering (From November 2000 to till date)

As a Professor, handling the under graduate (U.G) and graduate (Masters) courses. Supervising/guiding the graduate (Masters/Post-graduate) and Doctoral dissertation/ thesis works. Coordinating the Industrial Consultancy Service (ICS) of the Department and the designing, vetting/proof verification of various projects related to the buildings and the industrial works in the Department to generate the Internal Resource Generation (IRG)/ funds to the Institution/ University. Member of Board of Studies (BOS) for University and the University Constituent Autonomous Institutions and the University affiliated Institutions.

2. Associate Professor In Civil Engineering ( September 1994 to October 2000)

As an Associate Professor, handling the under graduate (U.G) and graduate (Masters/P.G.) courses. Supervising/ guiding under graduate (U.G) and the graduate (Masters) dissertation/ thesis projects. Assisting in the Consultancy Service of the Department for the vetting/ proof verification, and day to day strength tests of various projects related to the construction works to generate the Internal Resource Generation (IRG)/funds 

3.Assistant Professor in Civil engineering (August 1990 to August 1994)

As an Assistant Professor, handling the under graduate (U.G) courses and Laboratory sessions. Supervising/guiding under graduate (U.G) dissertation/ thesis or project works. The day to day strength tests were conducted in the laboratory for various projects related to the construction works in the Department.
