PIPING STRESS ENGINEER

• Identifying the Stress critical lines from the P & ID and line list.
• Carried out stress analysis of Onshore and Offshore (FPSO- Topside/ Marine) piping using CAESAR II software.
•  Modelling and Analysing of various critical systems such as Lines connected to Heat Exchangers(Shell &Tube, Plate type), Pressure Vessels, Pig launchers and receivers, Flare Lines, Scrubbers, Filters, Rack piping, Storage Tanks, Psv Systems ,Pumps,Towers,Airfincoolers  considering respective standards and Documents.
• Analysis of Offshore piping considering structural displacement, hog and sag, transit and blast condition.
• Selection of Spring & Preparation of Spring Specification Sheets which in line with the project specification.
• Performing Flange leakage as per equivalent pressure method, NC 3658.3 and ASME SEC VIII Div 1.
• Trunnion calculation.
• Frequency check using Modal Analysis.
• Preparation of load case for offshore and onshore.
• Familiar with WRC 537 Bulletins for Local Stress Evaluation of Equipment Nozzles.
• Qualifying Nozzles in Nozzle pro software.
• Transferring the loads to Civil for Pipe racks and other grade supports.
• Preparation of stress analysis Reports & generation of stress Isometric drawings.
