I am  P. RAJARAJAN as a married Indian- Hindu. I have two children

Daughter is Married & Son is studying  5th semester in Mechatronics. 

Residing in Puzhuthivakkam, Chennai- Tamilnadu-India.

1. Auto cad Shop/ Fabrication drawing checking work as freelancer/consultant/contract basis. - Sheet basis or Tonnage basis or contract basis as per structural g.a & project standard details/project specifications 
2. Structural Steel  Detail Engineering Team lead /coordination / checking work from home as freelancer.
3. Autocad and Tekla structural steel shop & erection drawing prepared with our team from home town Chennai- India.

 I am quit experienced (36 years) in structural steel & detailing and handled varies projects like Power plants , Petrochemical plants, Steel plants, Cement plants , Coal Handling plants , Malaysian steel bridges and  Metal & Minerals etc. 

I was working in L& T -Chennai (23 years) , FLSmidth India-Chennai  (10 years) and  BGR-Energy System- Chennai. (4 years) as DGM- Structural Steel Detailing Section Head (TEKLA & AUTOCAD) for both Inhouse & outsourcing works.

I retired on 31.03.2020. I can also work on consolidated or contract basis or consultant or Freelancer as per your company norms.

My Nature of work:

• One of Team Lead/ Section Head in civil & structural dept.
• Individual handling of projects for Civil & Structural portion and monitoring /interface checking for the site activities and coordinating with other disciplines like Mechanical, Plant Layout & E&I etc.
• Man power planning & work Allocation.
• Frequent site visit for the Quality Auditing, Problem Solving & Site Progress. 
• Getting Approval of Engineering Documents with Client/Customer.
• Site Visit for the Proposal Work.
• Preparation of Civil & Structural BOQ for the Proposal or Tender work & Preparation Purchase Request.
• Preparation of Design Basis Report/ Design Documents.
• Monitoring & work Allocation for the out Sourcing jobs for the Design & Detailing work.
• Checking & Approval of Design, Structural G.A & Detail  Engineering Drawings for both Civil & Structural works.
• Approval & Reviewing of Vendor Design & Detail Drawings.
