 operates, observes, and assists in the control and operation of the utilities and WTP plant. This includes starting and stopping equipment and adding treatment chemicals.  Periodic service and maintenance of the prominent chlorine generator  Monitoring and maintaining chemical consumption as per norms  Knowledge and experience in the PLC and SCADA  Proficient in the handling of valves, pumps, and air blowers  Collecting and preparing water samples from different sources, such as wells, raw water tanks, and treatment plants and stations.  Using laboratory equipment and instruments, such as pH meters, turbidity meters, spectrophotometers, incubators, autoclaves, centrifuges, microscopes, and titrators, to measure and record physical, chemical, and biological parameters of water samples  conducting microbiological tests to detect and identify harmful organisms, such as bacteria, viruses, and molds, in water samples.  calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure their accuracy and reliability.  Collaborating with other technicians, engineers, and managers to discuss test results and recommend solutions for water quality issues.  Knowledge and experience in the CIP membrane cleaning procedure.  Sand filter backwash and SDI checking Ensure that records are maintained properly.  Knowledge and experience in membrane probe testing and membrane loading.  Collecting and preparing water samples from different sources, such as wells, raw water tanks, and treatment plants and stations.  Perform various chemical analyses on water samples using APHA standard methods and instruments  Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of test results and quality control data.  Prepare reagents, and solutions for testing and analysis
