As a qualified Chartered Accountant and Management graduate, I have been an ex-Big4 Tax Partner with over 30 years experience in the fields of finance, accounting, taxation, regulatory and business transactions/consulting. I am also a Certified Independent Director and ESG Consultant. I have developed proficiency in guiding organizations in finding effective solutions on business & statutory compliances, advice and litigation management, enhancing profitability for the organization through efficient finance management, cost/ capital optimization across the region, aligning company's financial reporting structure and statements to organizational business goals. I also have proven expertise in managing all tax compliance functions in India as well in global locations. Currently, I am the Proprietor of Tax Boutique Firm – Sandip Mukherjee & Associates – Chartered Accountants, Till recently, I was associated as Partner – International Tax, with Fox Mandal and Associates and was involved in end-to-end management of functions related to corporate tax, tax litigation & regulatory issues of my clients, while managing the India & International Tax Practice of the Firm as a whole. Besides client service management, in my role, I have had to coordinate with government authorities, regulatory bodies, tax officials, network connects, other professionals, locally as well as overseas, for maintaining seamless operations. I have also been involved in representing my clients before government authorities on matters related to regulatory issues and disputes based on statutory requirements. I have also contributed to building and grooming dynamic teams to incrementally grow the business of the Practice.
