• This project is aligned to the cryptographic work-stream with Cyber Security. A self-Signed Certificate supporting may expire without notification to the service owner.
• The owner may even be unaware that certificate exists. In this Situation the service m ay stops working and remain down until the cause is assessed and a new self-signed certificate is acquired and installed.
• This project will make use of any end point scanning and report collection and analysis for Self-Signed certificates. Comparing against the CI of the SNOW report.
• We are responsible for highlighting the server owner certificate owner about the Self-Signed and unauthorized certificate and requesting to work on remediation and switching of the certificates.
• New Inventory for the certificates was created with the service owner and certificates details along with end date of the certificates.
• The majority if our devices will have Tanium installed on them, Where the Tanium sensors is available and will be used to determine the status of the certificates.
• 10,000 Linux Servers and around 800 Windows servers certificates was updated.
• This was a 6 Months project was completed successfully and signed out.
