I am a very simple person who aspires to earn money rather than make some. I have been a part of several medical colleges, some who are deemed universities today as well.

The truth about awakening has not hit the hospitals or medical colleges till date, though some suffer badly and are on the verge of eminent shut down. 

The medical fraternity has changed over the years, constantly and for the worse. Gone are the days of Hippocrates oath and the overwhelming desires to overtake each other in competitive terms of relentless service. Humanity now lies in the grave (which is also dug up for measly benefits nowadays). Patients and their families are now driven around the cities in search of unscrupulous agents and ambulance drivers/ Owners who want to make a benefit out of each patient.

Work Experience                :

• Employed with Santosh Medical & Dental College Hospitals, Ghaziabad, UP from September 1996 to April 2007. Was employed as Manager for Hospital Services.

Roles and Responsibilities included:

1. Recruitment of staff for Non- clinical departments.
2. Co-ordination of OPD and IP Admissions / Discharge.
3. In & Out Patient PR/ Financial counseling, and Marketing/ Branding.
4. OP & IP Billing, Purchase & Stores.
5. MIS and Inventories.

• Employed with Norwich Union Aviva (Now WNS Aviva), Brookfield, Bangalore from 2007 – 2009. Positions served commenced as Claims Analyst and ended as Team Fraud Coordinator (Motor Accident & Personal Injury Claims). Last CTC drawn was 3.54 p. a.

Roles and Responsibilities included:

- Taking escalations from team members regarding fraudulent/ suspicious claims.

- Ensure weekly/ monthly targets were maintained.

- Report to the Unit solicitor/ Barrister about any issue that needs to be          escalated to court on a daily basis.

- De-escalate irate sounding solicitor office asking for claims fulfillment by analyzing their requirement and asking them to provide alternate evidences/ photographs, if possible.

• Employed with Srushti Hospital, Yediyur, Jayanagar 7th Block, Bangalore as Hospital Administrator from July 2009 till May 2014.  Responsibilities include Internal NABH coordination, Marketing. Recruitment and training for employees, Liaison with Doctors, patients and patient attenders. Preparation of Duty roster for nursing/ housekeeping departments, Liaison with police for MLC cases, Liaison with insurance companies for networking and for cashless admissions.

• Employed with Digvijaya Hospital, Yediyur, Jayanagar 7th Block, Bangalore as Hospital Administrator from May 2014 till August 2018.   (Same place as Srushti Hospital with the same set of responsibilities except that the hospital was taken over by Vijaya group of Institutions and name was changed to Digvijaya Hospital).

• Employed with Sapthagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre Hospital, Bangalore as Manager – Gen. Administration and Internal Marketing from August 2018 till April 2021.  Responsibilities include Internal NABH/ NABL coordination (Sapthagiri Hospital has an NABL accredited lab). Controlling LAMA/ DAMA leakage, Liaison with Doctors, patients and patient attenders, Hospital Marketing, Liaison with BBMP and other civic bodies, Liaison with police for MLC cases, Out-patient and In-patient counseling to prepare them for procedures/ admissions and financial factors, Supervision of staff duties and KPI markings, setting KRA’s and SOP’s, and many more that wouldn’t fit the page.

• Have had a stint with Apoorva Doagnostics & Healthcare, Bangalore as a Marketing Manager from September 2021 till January 2022. Included profile was WFH mostly with Saturday meetings at Office. Responsible for Laboratory tie-ups and Hospital Lab Management all through South India.
