I am Regulatory Affairs professional and working with Government Agencies and Ministries for my employers on multi-dimensional Advocacies and Compliances activities on various issues in the Sector of Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Petrochemicals and Environment. 

Current Designation - Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Advisor, Global Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs.  Date of Joining: 9th August 2018.

1. Key Responsibilities: -
2. Responsible for Advocacy and Surveillance of the global regulations for International, EU India subcontinent, Middle East , Africa , Turkey markets with focus on the Chemicals, Environment , Sustainability.  
3. Lead for the EPR Compliance for Chemicals and Lubricants business.
4. Authorized India Representative of ExxonMobil’s manufacturing sites in Singapore, Europe and USA. Key Stakeholders for the Audit of the Manufacturing site for multiple ExxonMobil manufacturing sites in Singapore; Europe and United States. 
5. Engage with key Industry Associations in the region to gain the intelligence and influence as per requirements. Perform impact assessment and provide insight on the concerns and issues where the actions need to be taken by the respective teams. Coordinate and Participate for the Industry association conferences, and meeting participation related to Chemicals, Petrochemicals and sustainability related subjects.
6.  Evaluate and interpret new and emerging regulations globally. Develop advocacy positions for company products consistent with business objectives, Provide surveillance, analysis, and guidance on future regulatory trends for consideration in business strategy development. Represent company in external activities including Government Interactions and Trade association. Lead development of company regulatory and advocacy strategies for chemical products. Evaluate impacts of regulatory changes. Support company compliance with regional regulations. 
7. Drive collaboration and synergy capture in PS&RA; Sustainability functions across all businesses. Interface with other functions/businesses to ensure effective and efficient information exchange of relevant regulations, laws, and policies. Supports a global business with external and internal interfaces. 
8. Coordinate among business to prepare the Budget proposal for the industries proposal for the Government of India. 
9. Internal & External Customers: -Work closely with Regional and Global Marketing, Public and Government Affairs, Technology, and Sales departments to enhance business growth through regulatory advocacy and by assuring that current and future company products meet regional Chemical Regulations and End-user regulatory.
10. External Stake Holders: Government of India , respective line Ministries ( MoEF&CC/ MoC&F / MoCA /MoC / MoP&NG; Confederation of Indian Industry; Bureau of Indian Standards, Indian Chemical Council, Federation of Indian Industries, Organization of plastic processers of India etc. In communication channel with SCIC, American Chemistry Council.
11. Train New Joiners (Business and Functions) and conduct on-boarding sessions on the Product Stewardship and Regulatory affairs activities.
