Hi I'm Sarath Kumar from Chennai. I've done my graduation in rkm Vivekananda College. I've around 12+ of years experience in IT industry. I've started my career in Infosys as an operation executive, initially I've worked for a US telecom client as a ASR writer and Network tester for first 3 years which was completely different from software testing background. Later, with my own interest and knowledge I got an opportunity for software testing and worked for a US client in healthcare domain that is Horizon blue cross blue shield of new jersey where my major role was test case execution, preparing test cases,  performing regression testing. It was more like UI testing validating the groups having its respective plan benefits and accumulators. For a regression testing we generate xml for the particular plan and it's benefits through SOAP UI and compare them using beyond compare. It was waterfall method and also I have been participated in daily defect calls. Later after around 5 years I've got an opportunity to work for again in a healthcare domain that is Blue Shield of CA and here worked in multiple changes or enhancements. Such as Novation, COBA and Encounters transformation. Novation is about where BSC acquired PHP so after certain year PHP 837 files are goes from BSC 837 files. We have been tested and successfully completed the changes. COBA is about where they wants to correct all the Medicare number for the Medicare subscribers which are having incorrect or blank Medicare no. Here we tested by sending 270 inbound file for the incorrect subscribers to CMS and receive 271  outbound response file with valid Medicare number from CMS which helps to update subscribers through batch jobs. Currently I'm handling the Encounters transformation and it is on of the long term enhancement in this BSC account. The main purpose of this enhancement is migrating the source from BOR to COEDS DB as BOR facing lot of downtime. We deals with MediCal and Medicare lobs. Preparation of test data through 837 inbound file, FACETS. Working in non speciality claims, encounters and speciality encounters through both 837 and FACETS, ITS claims etc. Front end is FACETS and back end is Oracle SQL. Here main roles are  Analysing the scope and coming up with multiple scenarios and test combinations, attending daily status call, assigning daily task to team members, taking care of deliverables, updating the daily status in JIRA dashboard, preparing test effort estimations for each quarter, submitting milestones document on or before end of every month.
